Sarasota, FL (SRQ)
This project involved the addition of three in-line baggage-handling systems comprised of over 100 conveyors. The Control System utilized Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC’s and C-More HMI’s. Redundant PC’s were used to log system and bag information to a MySQL database to allow daily and custom reports to be generated for the TSA.
Transportation Security Administration’s Transportation Security Integration Facility (TSIF)

The TSIF Facility was created for the TSA to test new equipment for airport baggage handling systems (BHS). ACS designed the Quick-Disconnect cabling system that allows conveyors to be quickly moved to the side to allow new X-ray machines to be added to or removed from the system, ensuring quick and hassle free equipment change out. |
