Advanced Control Systems has worked on more than 50 airline projects throughout the world, ranging from small 1- to 2-conveyor upgrades to a terminal containing three inline baggage handling systems.  Our comprehensive conveyor control system offers our customers the peace of mind that they have invested in a reliable and efficient automated baggage handling system. Sarasota, FL  (SRQ)

This project involved the addition of three in-line baggage-handling systems comprised of over 100 conveyors. The Control System utilized Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC’s and C-More HMI’s.  Redundant PC’s were used to log system and bag information to a MySQL database to allow daily and custom reports to be generated for the TSA.

Transportation Security Administration’s Transportation Security Integration Facility (TSIF)

TSA1-1024x634 The TSIF Facility was created for the TSA to test new equipment for airport baggage handling systems (BHS). ACS designed the Quick-Disconnect cabling system that  allows conveyors to be quickly moved to the side to allow new X-ray machines to be added to or removed from the system, ensuring quick and hassle free equipment change out.
